  1. I support all young and upcoming fighters and I wish Ryan the best so there's NO HATE in this comment, but over the course of his fights despite the obvious pro's to his game like his speed and one punch power, there are some very noticeable cons. His footwork is very questionable, as he moves like a linear fighter, who moves forward and back and doesn't often create angles, instead relying only on his counter punching, which is a great asset but can become a liability if it's your only weapon in the ring. It's worked very well for him against the tomato cans they've put him up against, but I feel against the real competition at his weight class he might get exposed. Of course, he has a great deal of time to grow and I think he has an unbelievable amount of potential, but when I hear him talk about how he wants to fight Gervonta next and he feels he's on the same level as guys like Loma and Linares in his interviews, it just feels like he's allowing these early successes cloud his judgement in seeing that there ARE holes in his boxing that will get exploited by the higher ups. Hopefully his team works on his craft and gets him the adequate level of competition so he can keep improving instead of throwing him in with the sharks so soon.
