  1. Gillie right he had a bigger buzz than all the Camden dudes put together. See Gillie is the king of Philly because he been relevant in Philly Rap since I was a kid an seen major figgaz at MS.savage candy store on 55th and Osage I was like twelve I'm 34 now threw the years I watch Gillie always shine light on Philly talent through batcave radio and so many other different outlets he got in the door and left it unlocked back then. Giving exposure to Philly talent The real streets out here. even if it's not all the time he did it. Now he back with the podcast giving real game like always raw and uncut that's Philly see Camden has never been and never will be competition for Philly even in battle rap reed dollaz destroyed arsonal as far as tracks and lyrics Camden never really was a factor back then and no disrespect too Camden but nobody from there that raps, buzz has never caught my ear besides all the battle rappers.

  2. "Somewhere along the line philly lost it's culture".. false. we didn't lose our culture, the culture just shifted. like yall said. philly got a LOT of rappers. so the Philly sound got played out quick. the philly sound embody the philly image…. whats the philly image? guns and drugs punchlines and hard beats. people dont wanna hear that hard shit all the time. also, if the kids are the future and everyone raising they kids different today wit the world bein more involved, how could the culture be experienced like it was? it cant.. which is why gill got songs that don't sound like philly(damn near entire MDWG had 808's) . the culture still here. live and well. it just sound different.

  3. Dev got a muthafuckin point. Gillie just dont wanna hear him that's why he ALWAYS talk over Dev. Let the man speak gil. Just like Dev said you are NOT the WHOLE philly. Many philly artist were hot the same time Gillie was out and I listen to all of them. I'm with DEV
