  1. The Warriors have eliminated Houston 2 of the last 3 years. Harden has had terrible, high turnover games in both those close out games. It is better if he doesnt have the ball in his hands, at least not down the stretch or for most of the game.

  2. the "not enough touches" argument is the easiest argument these analysts use so they could sounds like they're making a good point. it's the same thing they said about golden State. we all know how that turned out.

  3. Yes he deserves it. New position this year and only lost mvp race to westbrook. Now he got true PG. Wait and see what happens. But it's looking good. The rest can eat some duck sausage. Duck on it!!!

  4. 1) Getting CP3 and giving up that much is more likely to backfire than not
    2) Harden ain't worth that much money
    3) That being said I still like what the Rockets are doing: not being satisfied with playing well, they are willing to take huge risks in order to maybe have a better shot at a championship or having a shot at all. Respect!
    4) Though he's overpaid it's still the right move to extend Harden's contract. He's your franchise player and you can't afford to lose him in his prime. Furthermore you need him to attend free agents and having any chance of contending.
    5) My personal opinion: Harden is both overpaid and overrated, he's not the type of player you win championships with. Because of a) bad defense b) choking in the playoffs c) shying away from the big shots, relying on the refs in big games.
He's a guy for the show, the fans and the stats so it's second round playoffs max for Houston, especially after giving up too much for CP3. Not enough left to offer anything interesting for Melo now. Rockets are a show team first, dreaming to be a contender. Nothing wrong with that, good for the league

  5. This is just inaccurate by FS1, Harden DID NOT sign the largest contract in NBA history. You can't include his current contract with the extension. It's not a new contract and therefore isn't the largest contract in NBA history.

  6. It will back fire on them cause James harden is known for not playing defense came 2nd in MVP 2 times lol if that's not a L to motivate him to play defense I don't know what will motivate him to play defense

  7. Skips never right about anything. Everytime he says a team will do good they do terrible everytime he says a team will do bad they make the playoffs and build as a team done with guy.

  8. They add Chris Paul, they have real MVP James Harden, still have Capela, Anderson, Gordon, Ariza and Nene, plus they added Pj Tucker and Mbah A Moute. This team is 2nd best in the west, if they can somehow add carmelo anthony it would be awesome
