  1. Melo is also a problem, all these analysts love melo for some reason, he's a ISO player and does not making anyone around him better, he is a one dimension player. He's huge contrast screwed the nicks also

  2. Such a d-bag… he looks like he probably spent 2 hours in front of the mirror perfecting his smirk he would use to open the segment. Then he spent 3 hours with his hair.

  3. smith and Kellerman are retards. NY is trash and need to cut ties with that thief melo. just start over and build. the knicks haven't been good in along time why are their fans acting like this is a sudden fall from grace because of Phil Jackson? ???

  4. English is my second language, yet even i know Max misused the saying "Not a moment too soon", a billion moments too soon would imply that it was indeed TOO SOON; not the opposite which was the sentiment he was trying to convey.

  5. Phil starting to realize it was all luck. Getting kobe, shaq, mj, and pippen. Popovich is the goat and its not even close. And I hate the spurs (Kawhi is the best player in the nba though)

  6. All of these "experts " praising Phil Jacksons firing. Virtually every other team in the NBA will look to hire him as President. He drafted Porzingis, dumped worthless contracts and was on the verge of dumping a cancer, Carmelo. Dolan has never owned a successful NBA franchise, and this is yet another reason….making decisions that match Max Kellerman

  7. Phil Jackson was just trolling the team the whole time. He's laughing behind closed doors. It's too bad he was banned, he was about to bring Dikembe Mutombo out of retirement and sign him.

  8. "We faced resistance from the top" as Phil stated this past April !!!!

Melo and how he infested the locker room and team, caused huge issues with the organization. I wonder who posioned KP's mind??????

A sad day and it just goes to show you that in the NBA, the players run the teams. Sports writers and talk radio people only add to the problem by wanting to be "friends" with player and in the know. Melo might be a nice person and good father, but he's killed many coaches and several front office execs, and he's never acheived anything in the NBA by leading his own teams. George Karl knew it well, Mike D (coach of the year) experienced it, J. Lin and STAT knew it, Donnie Walsh found out, and now we know that Jackson knows it.

Phil made mistakes, yes, no doubt but this years draft class is excellent and by adding those players to KP, Willy, Baker and the undrafted players in this year summer group, we would have seen a very competitive and defensively minded group. Now, I'm sure we'll go back to overpaying offensive minded – selfish players, trading away 1st round picks and making the players agents happy. CAA is back in the saddle of power.

FYI – It's taken Boston, Philly and Washington 3-5 years of bottoming out to build through top 10 picks and trades for assets. * 2015 was our 1st round pick in years (KP), NO 1ST round in 2016 (traded away) and this years #8 pick.

    The NFL does it right!!!!
