  1. Ya know, it's funny. When certain athletes didn't go to the WH when Obama was president they were called out. They were told to put their politics aside and "respect the office of the presidency". Now, a lot of those same people are supporting those athletes that won't go to the WH because of Trumps politics. The fact that these people can't even see their own hypocrisy is astounding. Oh and btw, I voted for Hillary in the last election

  2. I can't even picture t'rump congratulating the teams without talking about himself most of the time. He'll just show up, take a picture, and then hop on AF1 to Palm Springs.

And assuming he even continues the tradition of inviting teams to the WH, the Patriots will all show up, out of respect to Kraft and the Coach. But other teams, might be a harder sell.

  3. I voted for Trump, but I have absolutely no problem with anyone from any race skipping the White House visit. Whether it be political or personal, it's their right to attend or not to attend. But we as a nation shouldn't demonize anybody because of the decision they make. We all have our own opinions, and we're not going to make any progress as a country by insulting each other. This is America, let these athletes have the freedom to choose what they want to do with their lives.

  4. Patriots falling apart, love it. Who would have thought this is how their dynasty would end? Their QB with the worst PR guy in the history of sports makes a bad political move and all of a sudden his team no longer sees him as a leader but a washed 40 year old QB

  5. Guess what. I watch sports for entertainment, not for their political views. I don't care who does or doesn't visit the White House and I find a lot of the views and behavior of these athletes reprehensible, sometimes criminal and they think they can pass judgement. Have a day off guys…

  6. I sincerely love and appreciate how they are handling this. "If they go, they go. If they don't, they don't." They aren't condemning them or telling people what their opinion is it talking about their own politics. And I love that.
