  1. No one remembers Hack a Shaq? The guy was getting roughed up every night down low. Guys would literally get 5 fouls on themselves intentionally to slow him down. With that said, Abdul jabbar is the greatest ever

  2. It comes down to why Kobe hated working with him. Because Kobe knew what Shaq could be and didn't do the work. Kobe doesn't like being around people like that who don't want to put in the work.

  3. Shanon dumb on this Shaq, was better then Hakeem hands down, not better then Kareem but shaq is the best in the center in the 90's. hands down plus he got five rings ,Hakeem has only two

  4. Hakeem and Shaq are probably even as far as offensive play. Hakeem is better all around player than shaq. I hear what Shannon is saying. Shannon is saying that he is so good that he was made to over achieve but he still was great he just could have been alot better. I definitely agree with Shannon about those free throws.

  5. I agree. As great as Shaq was, he could have been even greater. He could have been higher on the scoring list, blocks list, rebound list and could have worked a little more on his free throws. Hard to think with his dominance in the early 2000s, but he could have definitely been better.

  6. Shaq moved to La and stayed out of shape!!! Smh ate himself out of at least 2-3 more chips. Smh with all that being said he was better than Russell and Wilt and it's. It even close

  7. they have valid arguments but honestly i think its a miracle shaq was as healthy as he was in his prime at that size and moving as fast as he did cause early on he was actually very athletic for that size it was crazy

  8. While I believe that Shannon is right to some respect theres two things I think about when considering shaq:
    1. his 300 weight was a big factor in overpowering and dominating his opponents and lowering his weight wouldn't do much to improve his game other than maybe his personal health and not having to miss some games. This is because he was slow moving to begin with. Shaq wouldn't suddenly change his moves to ones that required speed an agility if he had lost maybe 50 pounds and if he did we wouldn't be calling him the big diesel. And given that he only uses a hook shots and dunks and other simple manuveur while completely overpowering the defender with his enormous body, losing weight would probably have made Shaq's game worse.
    2. As for could shaq be considered better than Kareem, probably not, but he definitely could have put up one heck of the fight in his prime defensively and offensively so I don't believe that we can definitively say that Shaq was any worse than Kareem or Wilt
